Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mantic, its website, interfaces, applications, APIs, and related services collect, use, store, and disclose information in connection with the Mantic protocol and associated products and services.

Mantic is designed as a blockchain based ecosystem. As a result, certain interactions with the protocol may occur directly on public blockchain networks, while other interactions may occur through web interfaces, developer tools, APIs, analytics services, support channels, or third party services connected to the ecosystem.

By accessing or using Mantic, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Mantic website, application interfaces, APIs, developer tools, documentation, communication channels, and any other product or service that links to or references this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites, wallets, exchanges, analytics providers, infrastructure providers, or other services not controlled by Mantic, even if such services interact with the Mantic ecosystem. Third party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. This separation is common across major crypto products, including Aave’s terms and app terms, which expressly direct users to third party terms for external services.

2. Information We May Collect

Mantic may collect several categories of information depending on how you interact with the ecosystem.

First, we may collect blockchain related information. This may include wallet addresses, public transaction hashes, public token balances, smart contract interactions, market participation records, and other onchain activity associated with your use of public blockchain networks. Blockchain data is generally public, immutable, and independently accessible through public explorers. Polymarket’s documentation similarly relies on public blockchain data and publicly documented contract infrastructure.

Second, we may collect technical and device information. This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, language settings, referral URLs, session metadata, and usage logs.

Third, we may collect interface and usage data. This may include pages viewed, buttons clicked, features used, market pages opened, API calls, response times, error logs, interaction frequency, and other data related to how users engage with the Mantic interface or services.

Fourth, we may collect communications data if you contact us directly. This may include email addresses, support requests, bug reports, messages, attachments, and any additional information you choose to provide.

Fifth, we may collect cookies and similar technologies data where applicable. This may include session cookies, local storage data, analytics tags, and security related tracking technologies used to maintain service integrity, prevent abuse, and improve performance. Aave explicitly notes use of analytics and app security controls such as CSP and integrity protections in its public materials.

3. How We Use Information

Mantic may use collected information for several legitimate operational purposes.

We may use information to provide, maintain, and improve the platform and its interfaces. We may use it to operate prediction market pages, load protocol data, improve application stability, optimize UI and API performance, and develop new features.

We may use information for security and abuse prevention. This includes detecting malicious traffic, preventing interface abuse, rate limiting API requests, monitoring suspicious behavior, identifying operational anomalies, and protecting users and the ecosystem.

We may use information for analytics and product development. This includes understanding how users navigate the platform, which features are most used, where technical issues occur, and how the protocol can be improved over time.

We may use information for communications. This includes responding to support inquiries, sending service updates, notifying users about technical incidents, and communicating legal or policy changes where appropriate.

We may use information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, protect our rights, investigate misconduct, respond to lawful requests, or address regulatory, sanctions, or jurisdiction related requirements. Polymarket publicly notes geographic restrictions and sanctions related controls for order placement, illustrating how crypto services may incorporate compliance and access rules.

4. Blockchain Transparency

Because Mantic interacts with public blockchain networks, certain information may be publicly visible and permanently recorded. Wallet addresses, transaction history, token transfers, market participation, and other blockchain events may be viewable by anyone through blockchain explorers or analytics services.

Mantic does not control the public nature of blockchain records and cannot alter or delete information recorded on a public blockchain once confirmed. Users should understand that public blockchain activity may be traceable, linkable, and analyzable by third parties.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Mantic may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to support authentication flows, preferences, analytics, performance monitoring, fraud prevention, and interface reliability.

Where analytics tools are used, they may collect information regarding user behavior across the site or application, such as page visits, click patterns, time spent on pages, and crash or performance diagnostics.

You may be able to control certain cookie settings through your browser or device settings. However, disabling cookies or similar technologies may affect functionality or user experience.

6. How We Share Information

Mantic does not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers, infrastructure providers, analytics vendors, security vendors, cloud hosting providers, customer support tools, communications providers, legal advisors, auditors, or other contractors who process data on our behalf and under appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with law, protect users, enforce our rights, investigate fraud or misuse, or respond to legal process.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Because blockchain data is public by nature, onchain activity may also be observed or processed by third parties independently of Mantic.

7. Data Retention

Mantic may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business and technical purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, operational needs, and applicable legal requirements.

Public blockchain data may remain accessible indefinitely through the underlying network and cannot generally be removed by Mantic.

8. Data Security

Mantic takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, application, API, or blockchain system can guarantee absolute security. Users should understand that internet based systems and blockchain infrastructure inherently involve technical risks.

9. International Use

Mantic may operate across multiple jurisdictions and may use service providers or infrastructure located in different countries. By using Mantic, you understand that information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, subject to applicable laws and safeguards.

10. Children and Minors

Mantic is not intended for young children. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization for certain online services, users are responsible for ensuring that their access and use comply with applicable legal requirements.

11. Your Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent in relation to personal information processed by Mantic.

Because some data is stored on public blockchains, Mantic may be unable to modify or delete blockchain records.

You may limit certain data collection by adjusting browser settings, refusing cookies where available, disconnecting wallets, or ceasing use of the interface.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Mantic may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated version will be published through the relevant platform or documentation channels with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the platform after changes become effective may constitute acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Contact

Questions regarding this Privacy Policy may be directed to the official Mantic support or legal contact channels.
